Frequently Asked Questions

This Is My First Time...

At Holy Shipping, we strive to make your experience an enjoyable one.  We would like you to be a returning customer.  The application process is simple, call in, and our specialist will walk you through the steps.  Upon placing an order, we will need contact names and addresses, and a debit/credit card on file, but you will not be charged, until we connect you with a responsible driver.

What Is The Fee Structure?

The breakdown of payment is as follows: $50-$200 brokers’ fee that is paid by debit/credit usually two days prior to pickup when we connect you to a driver.  The difference of price will be paid to the driver on delivery cash/business check.  It is possible to pay all by card if the driver has a merchant account setup.

Can I Put Items In The Vehicle?
How Soon Can You Pick Up My Vehicle?

Any time a driver calls in, dispatch from Holy Shipping will relay that information to you.  You can either accept, decline, or wait for another offer presented to you by the driver.  The option is yours.  We can, usually, get your vehicle picked up within 48 hours.

How Long Will My Transport Take?

Drivers, approximately, drive 550 miles a day.  The transit from coast to coast takes 6 to7 days and north to south transport takes 3 to 5 days, depending how many miles the transportation is.

Is My Vehicle Insured?

Okay, the general rule is, you can have up to 100lbs in the vehicle.  Anything over 100lbs, it is just common courtesy, to tip the driver $50-$100, depending on the amount of weight.  This is to compensate the driver for hauling the additional weight. Most auto carriers do not have a license for carrying personal or household goods so they are only allowed to move 100lbs of belongings. Please, make arrangements for any appliances and other large items.

Keep in mind, the vehicle will be insured up to $100,000 bumper-to-bumper.  And there is a 5-point inspection conducted on pickup and again on delivery.

What Does My Price Include?

The final price, after, you agree to the driver's offer will include brokers' fee, tolls, fuel, insurance, and door-to-door service.  We will not give you the run around, estimates vary depending on the availability of drivers.  It is recommended to place your order in the summer season, because prices will increase during the winter season.
